I can easily say that after photographing professionally for 25 years, this was the first time I ever held a senior portrait session in a hops field. This is Bethany from Grand Rapids. Her family owns a centennial farm on the eastern Mason County line in what is commonly known as Carr Settlement. They also own Carr Creek Hops Farm. It’s great to see the generations taking stock in the heritage of their family’s land. – rob
Daniel is a senior at Ludington High School this year. We had a great November day to create some memories during his senior picture session. 
I shot this picture tonight at the Scottville Elementary talent show. The young dancer is our niece, Rylee, who is a fourth grader at the Upper Elementary. Couldn’t help but post this one! – rob
Sunday was a great autumn day. The light was perfect, the temperatures were comfortable and Chris and Heather Vander Haag and their boys Jack and Cole were ready for a great family photograph session in their own backyard. I have to give a little disclosure here: Chris is my first cousin. Since we are only two years apart, we’ve known each other for quite awhile.
The boys (and mom and dad) did a great job getting their pictures taken and the setting was perfect!
